Enterprise SSO
Sign in to Viktor through your company's identity provider with your team ID, once Viktor has linked your organization.
Enterprise SSO lets your team sign in to Viktor through your company's identity provider instead of Slack. It works only after Viktor has linked your team to your organization's SSO connection. There is no self-serve setup screen in the app: the Viktor team does the linking.
Before you start
- Your team must be linked to your organization's SSO. To arrange this, contact your Viktor account contact. See Enterprise plans.
- You need your team ID. An admin or teammate can copy it from the Team ID card on Team settings.
Sign in with SSO
- Go to app.viktor.com/enterprise-sso. The page reads "Enter your team ID to launch your SSO flow."
- Enter your team ID in Enterprise team ID.
- Select Continue with SSO.
- Sign in with your identity provider.
- Viktor signs you in to your team. If you don't have a Viktor account on that team yet, one is created for you.
To use Slack instead, select Sign in with Slack instead on the same page.
Limits by plan and permission
- SSO only works for teams that Viktor has linked to an SSO organization.
- Your identity provider account must belong to the organization linked to the team you entered.
- A disabled account can't sign in.
Common problems
- "Enter your team ID to continue with SSO": the Enterprise team ID field is empty.
- "Team is not linked to a WorkOS organization": SSO hasn't been set up for this team, or you entered the wrong team ID. Check the ID on Team settings, then ask your admin.
- "Team not found": the team ID is wrong. Copy it again.
- "We couldn't complete SSO": your identity provider reported an error. Try again or contact your admin.
- "Organization mismatch": you signed in with an identity provider account from a different organization than the one linked to this team.
- "Account is disabled. Contact your administrator.": your Viktor account is disabled. Ask an admin.
