Brand kit
Set up your brand once so Viktor uses your exact colors, fonts, logo and voice in everything customer-facing.
Viktor keeps your workspace's brand in one file, /work/brand/DESIGN.md, with your logo and font files beside it in /work/brand/assets/. Once it is set up, Viktor takes colors, typography, voice and messaging from it for anything an external audience sees.
Set up your brand
- Ask Viktor, and point him at what you already have. For example: "Set up our brand from our site and these files."
- Viktor fills in what he can from the sources you give him. He never invents a value you have not given.
- He asks for the rest in short rounds, one group at a time:
- - Colors: primary, background or neutral, accent, and the text color on each, as exact values.
- - Typography: heading and body fonts, any display or label font, and base sizes.
- - Shape and spacing: corner rounding, and how tight or roomy spacing should feel.
- - Components: recurring styled ones, such as a primary button or a card.
- - Voice: tone, person and formality.
- - Messaging: product name, tagline, value proposition, boilerplate paragraph, and phrases to avoid.
- - Licensing: any usage limits on the logo, fonts or imagery.
- Share your logo (ideally an SVG plus a raster fallback), your brand fonts (
.woff2preferred) and any fixed imagery in the conversation. If you can't share a font file, Viktor records the font name and a fallback. - Say "skip for now" to anything non-essential. Viktor records it as a TODO and keeps going.
- Viktor checks the spec and shows you the finished result: the values set, the assets in place and any remaining TODOs.
How Viktor uses it
Before Viktor produces anything customer-facing, he reads the brand file first. This covers marketing and product copy, emails, documents, decks, images, videos, landing pages and Space UIs.
- Colors, type, rounding, spacing, component styles, tone, product names, taglines and boilerplate come only from the brand file.
- Logos and fonts are the exact files from your brand assets, never look-alikes.
- If something is missing, Viktor adds it with you or tells you. He does not make it up.
- Internal scratch work does not have to follow the brand.
Change your brand
Ask Viktor to add or change something, for example: "Our accent color is now #0F766E." He reads the existing brand file first and applies only the new or changed values. Everything already in it stays.
Limits by plan and permission
- One brand per workspace. It applies to everyone's customer-facing work.
- The code sets no plan or role limit on setting up or changing the brand.
Common problems
- Viktor asks about the brand before a customer-facing task. No brand is set up yet. Answer his questions, or skip what isn't essential.
- A color or font looks wrong. Tell Viktor the exact value or share the file. He updates the brand file.
- A value is marked TODO. You skipped it during setup. Give Viktor the value when you have it.
