Links open right beside your chat

GitHub PRs, Google files, Gmail threads and Slack messages now preview in the side pane, so you can check a link without losing your place.

  • PRs, in full. Click a GitHub pull request in chat and its status, checks, description and diffs open next to the conversation.
  • Docs, mail and Slack too. Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive files, Gmail threads and Slack messages all open as readable previews.
  • Only what you can see. A preview shows up only when you already have access to the thing behind the link.

React to messages, and watch videos inline

Hover any message in Viktor chat to add an emoji, and videos Viktor shares now play right in the reply.

  • Reactions. Hover a message and react with any emoji. It's on for everyone in the web app.
  • Video that plays. When Viktor shares an mp4, mov or webm, it shows as a playable tile instead of a broken image.
  • Full size on tap. Open any video tile in the media viewer for the big version.

Hover an email address to see your history

Hover any email address in a Viktor message for a quick card with the person, when you last wrote, and your three newest threads.

  • Context on hover. See who it is, when you last emailed, and your three latest threads, with a jump to the rest in Gmail.
  • Never emailed them? The card offers a quick Write an email instead.
  • Your mailbox only. It reads just your own connected Gmail, and only when the card opens.

Peek at Space and Gmail links before you click

Hover a Space, project or Gmail link in chat and a preview card shows what's behind it.

  • Spaces. A screenshot, the title, the last update and who can see it.
  • Gmail. Sender, subject and a snippet, pulled from your own mailbox.
  • Projects. Who owns it and what's running right now.

Diagrams in chat, Viktor's Screen for all, and Airwallex

Mermaid diagrams now render in replies, everyone can watch and take over Viktor's browser, and Airwallex joins the catalog.

  • Real diagrams. When Viktor writes Mermaid, you get the drawn diagram, not a code block. Copy still gives you the source.
  • Viktor's Screen for every workspace. Watch Viktor browse, take the wheel, hand it back. Saved logins stay private unless you share one.
  • Airwallex. Connect it through its AgentOS MCP and Viktor can help with payments and accounting.

Explain, do, drop or undo any passage

Select text in a Viktor reply and pick Explain, Do it, Drop or Undo. Nothing sends until you hit send.

  • Four one-click presets. They sit next to Comment in the selection toolbar whenever you highlight part of a reply.
  • Honest undo. Undo reverses what the passage describes, and says plainly when something can't be reversed.
  • You stay in charge. Each pick becomes a chip in your message, and nothing goes out until you send it.

Edit Viktor's drafts right in the file pane

Markdown files Viktor writes for you now open in an editor with autosave, and linked PRs show their review status.

  • Fix it yourself. Drafts, notes and boards open in an editor, so tweaking an email no longer means asking Viktor to retype it.
  • Your edits stick. Viktor rereads the file before using, sending or rewriting it.
  • PR status at a glance. GitHub PRs in a chat's Contents panel show Draft, Ready for review, Approved, Merged or Closed.
Thu · #084

Interactive widgets, right in the reply

Viktor can draw small working tools inside a chat reply: pickers, calculators, mini apps. Out of experimental for everyone.

  • Live, not static. Replies can include scripted widgets you click and type into.
  • Sandboxed. Each one runs in an isolated frame.
  • For everyone. Every workspace on the web app gets it in supported browsers, and the Experimental tag is gone.

Comment on any part of a reply

Select a passage of a Viktor reply and attach a note to it, instead of pasting it back into your next message.

  • Point at the exact words. Select text, hit Comment or press ⌘⇧C (Ctrl+Shift+C), and write your note.
  • Highlights and chips. Comments show as highlights on the reply and chips in the composer.
  • Sent together. They go to Viktor with your next message, each tied to its passage. Bye, copy-paste.

@ your teammates, and manage access by asking

Type @ in the web chat to mention Slack teammates, and admins can now manage who uses Viktor straight from chat.

  • @ mentions. Type @ in the composer, pick a Slack teammate, and Viktor knows exactly which Julia you mean.
  • Access, by asking. Admins can block people, edit allowlists, adjust guest and Slack Connect access, or revoke invites in chat.
  • Drafts first. Every access change shows as a draft and applies only after an admin approves it.
