Change Viktor's name or icon

You can change the name your team sees for Viktor. The name is controlled in Slack's own app settings, not inside Viktor, so a Slack workspace admin needs to make the change.

Rename Viktor in Slack

1. In Slack, click Viktor's name or avatar to open the app profile.
2. Click the three dots (More) menu.
3. Select Configuration.
4. Open the Bot User section.
5. Click Edit, enter the new name, and save.

Your team will see the new name in chat right away.

A note on the profile picture

Viktor doesn't currently offer a custom profile picture or icon, so the avatar can't be changed.

Note: Only Slack workspace admins can edit the app configuration. If you don't have access, reach out to your admin.
