Out of credits: top up or upgrade

Choose between a one-time top-up, auto top-ups, and moving to a higher plan.

When your balance runs low you can buy extra credits once, set up automatic top-ups, or move to a plan with a larger monthly allowance.

Top up with extra credits

  1. Open Subscription settings.
  2. Choose to buy extra credits.
  3. Complete checkout and the credits are added to your current balance right away.

One-time top-ups are only available on the web. The message Viktor shows in Slack when credits run out offers Upgrade plan and Set up auto top-ups.

Set up auto top-ups

Auto top-ups add credits automatically whenever your balance runs low, so your tasks keep running. Auto top-up credits are charged at the same rate as the credits in your plan, while one-time top-ups are priced higher. You can enable auto top-ups from the low-credit message in Slack or in Subscription settings.

Move to a higher plan

  1. Open Subscription settings and compare the monthly credits in each plan.
  2. Choose a higher plan if you regularly run out before the cycle resets.
  3. Confirm the change to get the larger allowance immediately.

A one-time top-up is best for an occasional busy month, while auto top-ups or a higher plan are better value if you hit the limit most months.
