Refunds for a failed or incorrect run
What to do when credits were used on a run that failed or went wrong.
If a task failed or produced clearly broken results, the credits it used can often be reviewed and returned to your balance. This covers a refund of the credits the run consumed, not necessarily a refund of a Stripe payment.
Check what happened
- If you’re a workspace admin, open Usage to see recent threads and scheduled tasks with the credits each one used.
- Find the run in question and note when it ran and how many credits it consumed.
- Open the related Slack or Microsoft Teams thread, or scheduled task result, to confirm what went wrong.
Request a refund
Genuine system errors aren’t meant to cost you credits. If you believe a run failed because of a problem on Viktor’s side, request a refund for a failed run with the Slack or Microsoft Teams thread links and a note on what went wrong, and the team will take a look.
A quick note on what we can and can’t refund: credits cover the work Viktor does on each run, so they’re used up even when the outcome isn’t quite what you hoped for. Things like a prompt that was too vague, a result that’s technically correct but not what you had in mind, or general dissatisfaction with an answer don’t qualify for a refund. Refunds are reserved for runs that clearly broke on our side.
