# Links open right beside your chat

GitHub PRs, Google files, Gmail threads and Slack messages now preview in the side pane, so you can check a link without losing your place.

- **PRs, in full.** Click a GitHub pull request in chat and its status, checks, description and diffs open next to the conversation.
- **Docs, mail and Slack too.** Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive files, Gmail threads and Slack messages all open as readable previews.
- **Only what you can see.** A preview shows up only when you already have access to the thing behind the link.

## Why a side pane
Viktor drops a lot of links into a reply. Opening each one in a new tab meant losing the thread of the conversation. Now the link opens next to the chat and you stay in context.

## What opens where
GitHub PRs show checks and file diffs. Google files, Gmail threads (your own mailbox only) and Slack messages render as clean, readable previews.
