# Transparent backgrounds for generated images

Ask Viktor for a transparent PNG or WebP and GPT Image 2 will generate cutouts, logos, and stickers with real alpha, no manual background removal.

- **Transparent image backgrounds.** Viktor can now generate images with a transparent background using GPT Image 2, its default image model. Just ask for a cutout, logo, or sticker as a transparent PNG or WebP and Viktor requests it directly from the model instead of removing the background afterward. Existing image requests are unaffected, transparency is opt-in.
